Ildar ZIGANSHIN

Ildar Ziganshin was born on March 1, 1961.
1978-1984 - studied in Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute
1984-1987 - worked as an architect in a project institute
since 1989 - free designer and photographer, makes out musical albums, develops the trade marks, logotypes, works on polygraphic projects
since 1991 - member of Union of Russian Photoartists
since 1996 - member of Union of Russian Designers.

The author of many photographic projects. The most known ones:
"ðÉÐÌ" / "People" - bisexual faces photographed in 1983-2000, "people as known and not so";
"My love to Russian woman" (1985-1995) - 12 female types with a mustache as of S. Dali;
"Education (Dedication)" (1987-1990) - surrealistic photographs from several negatives;
"Unreal world" (1991-1997) - "pictures similar to delirium";
"Life of packing" (1997) - thrown out packing after its usage.

Taking great pains in 1998 to show himself an expert in the art of photography, his mastery of double exposition, for example, which consists in exposing the same picture twice when shooting a photo, Ildar became a good hand at producing strange hybrids of girls and cockle-shells with his camera ("Marine", or the mingling in one picture of girls and cars in "Cargirls").

Ildar's artworks are in private collections in Russia, USA, Canada, Denmark, England, France.

The artist is known as the designer of album covers of groups of Ekaterinburg rock club: "Nautilius Pompilius", "Agatha Christie", "April March", "Chaif", "Nastya".
