Objects of photos of the exhibition "Poles and doors" that continues project "Reference point" realized by OkNo gallery in new season are habitual and inconspicuous, at first sight, things of the ordinary world. Every day we meet them but hardly we interpret them as art objects.

The poles and doors "refracting" in Andrey Ovdienko's photos through lens and sight of the author become aesthetic objects he admires and creatively investigates. The wall daubed in garage appears as pictorial canvas in his pictures. Andrey notices graphics of wires on background of the sky, finds such foreshortening at which an ordinary door with broken steps seems as a work of art.

Andrey's works are original essays about the big city. A cheerful pointer, an old and beautifully chapped door... These imperceptible details of life the artist gets accustomed are filled with charm and their own aesthetics.
